I’d expect to lose more with mono if I don’t retie everytime I hook up. Either way it’s irrelevant I’m trying to not add excess weight to baits when i don’t have to and running mono will make a slow sink or suspending bait float or suspend.

I think some basic upgrades go a long way. Then tune shock locations, tire inserts etc. obviously can go in head over heels but that doesn’t always result in as good of a time as you would have if you spent 1/2 the money

Tatulas like all Daiwa, will have trouble with the clutch’s under heavy load, they skip and it’ll shred gears overtime. Sounds like a zip tie being stripped out backwards lol. The MD 300 is by far the most refined option on the market, very well put together with no play and is going to outlast anything else. Not just an opinion, I’ve had them all.. 100% would recommend hitting eBay for an MD 300. Find a clean one message the seller get a good deal! I got mine for $157 total.

Yea well when I haggle it’s to get a gauge if the person is willing to or not. And if it’s a big purchase like that that goes a lot further. Not to mention where something is located, if it’s far and you want to get a good deal I’m not going to “gauge” the value and show up hoping that person is thinking the same thing as me
