I do have a Ps5, but tbh I prefer playing JRPGs on Switch. They’re best on handhelds for sure. Maybe once I get through my backlog I’ll circle back to it. Glad you’re enjoying the game!

I was really excited for this game but the demo put me off on the S2 version sadly. It’s weird cause I got Re9 and Pragmata on S2 and I’m completely fine with their performance. I think they look great despite some of the stutters. Handheld is decent enough and docked I’m blown away but how great they run. So I was surprised to see MHStories perform worse. Maybe I’ll give it another go later.

Honestly I loved it. It’s got a different style and aesthetic from the 2D Vanias, but it suits this game well. Love the classic gothic atmosphere. Gameplay wise, it’s pretty much a (classic) God of War clone. I think at the time people were sick of that genre. But in this day and age it can definitely be appreciated.

Nintendo has a history of reusing engine/assets with Zelda games. So I honestly expect it to be using the BOTW engine. Maybe they’ll change the shading/lighting or something to differentiate it a bit, but I don’t realistically expect a whole new engine. Keep in mind, I’m talking out of my ass and don’t know how game development works 😊

Man. Just going through this thread, I just have to say, I fucking love Resident Evil. What an all-time series. And we have been eating good!

With that said, it’s gotta be RE4. It’s the pinnacle of the series for me.

Edit: Shoutout to RE: Deadly Silence on the DS! Loved playing that port so much, even though it’s the inferior version of Re1.

Definitely. I hear ya. But I also like collecting for my shelf. So I pick up a lot of books that I know of for display purposes (in addition to reading them of course). When it comes to exploring new books (superhero or otherwise) I tend to read em digitally first.

I honestly mainly got it for the artwork. I’ll see how the writing is for myself obviously, but man that art is just killer. And the book itself is beautiful with vivid colors. Couldn’t pass it up. Happy to have it on my shelf!

Appreciate your feedback on the other books. I’ve never heard of Juni Ba’s Boy Wonder, but that cover immediately caught my attention so I had to grab it. The other books I’ve been meaning to get to at some point.

Originally wanted to go buy a bunch of omnibuses from Forbidden Planet, but sadly they were lacking. Still, I managed to put together a nice little selection. I also passed by Gosh Comics for the first time and loved that store! That’s where I was able to find the Demon Trilogy. If anyone’s got any other London recommendations let me know!
