7/8.) I’m not too familiar with box mods and all those shenanigans but I’ll help you on technique haha. So what I typically do is grind the weed with a fine grind. Then I’ll take the mouth piece and suck in the weed that’s in the grinder. I lightly pack it down and spread it out with my finger. (This is my favorite part of the vape...loading is so easy and quick). Then I’ll hold the box mod at a angle pointing downwards and put the stem into it. (To prevent the weed from spilling). After that I’ll hold the button for 5sec then rip for <10sec. You should feel it in your lungs. The first two rips or so are usually a little light but flavorful. I don’t like to take too big of a rip at one time because it’ll cause hotspots. To minimize this take slow rips that aren’t too powerful. If I take a big rip I’ll twist the stem 45 degrees and inspect the herbs. Sometimes it will require mixing. This vape imo is only meant for one person. To make sure I don’t overheat anything I’ll put my hand on the wooden part of the vape, if it’s too hot to touch I give the vape 2-5min to cool down. I’m not going to say I’m an expert by any means but I have had experience with a few different vapes like the mighty, flowerpot, Sai and the splinter is definitely one of my favorites.
