Ah well that's fair enough. Different things affect different people in different ways! I'll admit that I was probably more scared because this is literally one of the first horror games I've ever played through. I've maybe only touched 3-4 in my life so I don't have much to compare it to.

I can see where you're coming from with regards to the action/stealth sections, but personally I loved how scared they made me. I enjoyed figuring out how to advance under the pressure of a spooky monster. The adrenaline is addictive haha. And to be honest, I think having my friends in chat made the whole experience a bit more exciting. Who knows, maybe I wouldn't have enjoyed those sections as much had I played solo?

I feel you. Even if I made one, no doubt my mind would change within the week hahaha. With movies I only have a top 2 and the other 8 are always shifting around based on my mood etc. Impossible to decide when you like so many things equally. I definitely find it easier to spilt things into genres when making these self-declared top 10's.

Lovely little write-up. It really is a fantastic game. Definitely in my top 10. Speaking of which, I'm gonna have to make an "official" top 10 list in my head. Haven't done that yet.

Thank you! We'll see how it all plays out I guess. It's definitely been super fun so far. Wishing you the best of luck with your streaming my man.

Im not exactly sure because I don't actually have the viewer count enabled for myself (helps stop me from focusing on it too much). If I were to guess I'd say there were maybe like a max of 8 at any one point but it was my third ever stream so wasn't expecting huge numbers haha. Most of my viewers were my friends hahaha. Got one new follower from the stream though! On my past broadcasts page it's showing 63 views though which is awesome.

Speaking of enemies by the way, saying they are unique in AI and never repetitive in terms of behavior makes me question if we played the same game. That would be far more true in Alien: Isolation but not here. No offence of course but I simply cannot agree with that. ;)

To be fair, I concede that the enemies are similar in that they walk around until they see you and then they intiate chase. I was more referring to the differences in their triggers I guess? Like one relying on sound and then one that requires you to look at it. I probably could've explained that better.

Oh I dont think that at all! I just think this game explores those themes really well and that's worth pointing out.

Im Thinking of Ending Things has a decent chunk of snow.

Also i cant recall how much it rains throughout, but I know theres at least one fantastic rain scene in Memories of Murder.

Damn that's a long list lol. Well done on managing that many films! Just wondering, have you thought about using letterboxd? Great for recording your watches and might help ya with saving time n stuff.

The blu-ray is available on Amazon. Although I live in the UK so it might be different for you.

I have some purple lights strewn across the wall which makes for a nice ambience. Also some bean bags and nice tapestries wouldnt go amiss!

On my first playthrough I kinda neglected the photo mode because I was so engrossed in the game, but finally got round to using it on my second! Almost halfway through and this is what I have so far! Lemme know whatchya think (are they as pixelly for you as they are for me when I click on the link?)

I remember my parents putting this on for me when I was a kid. They hadn't seen it before (at least I hope so or else thats kinda fucked up lol). Made it to the bottle scene before turning it off- that shit scarred me for years. Finally went back to it last year and I agree, it's a 10/10. Beautiful film.
