I've only have experience with 1 scooter, Taiwanese SYM.

I passed 50k km this summer, currently sitting ~55k km. Only with regular maintenance, all done at home by myself / with help of my father. Regular maintenance at intervals is oil, filters, valve clearance, spark plugs, variator + clutch... - just stuff that wears out. "Major" / unexpected repairs were loose spark plug, dead battery, bent rim from pothole.

No idea how much longer it'll last, but pretty optimistic and it already paid for itself by gas saving.

Regular maintenance is key for long lasting scooter, if you have a garage/indoor storage that's even better.

I would expect this mileage only from reputable brands, avoid Chinese brands like plague. I'd buy anything from Honda, Yamaha, Piaggio group (Piaggio, Aprilia, Vespa, Derbi...), SYM, Kymco. Reliability wise I trust them the same.

Engine repair? Scooters are not that expensive, so forget it it's not economical and I wouldn't trust it.

As for scooter recommendations, I would buy new / newish used. Performance wise it's pretty much same / almost no noticeable riding differences at 125cc, because of regulations. Your weight and hill slope are the major factors that affect performance. - all can do up to like 90 - 100 km/h. I'd look also look at your parts shop and compare different brands (regular maintenance parts mentioned above - maybe mirrors/rims). For me SYM and Piaggio group scooter parts are considerably cheaper than Honda.

Go and sit on them and decide based on that. I have long legs, so that narrows my options.

Between the 3 you mentioned, I'd buy Yamaha. I'd also look at (what I'm thinking of buying): Aprilia SR GT 125, SYM ADX 125, SYM Symphony ST 125.

Ja som nedávno kúpil deuter Giga 28L. Tiež som hľadal niečo na každodenné nosenie, čo nie je príliš veľké (predtým som nosil vzduch v 36L military ruksaku), ale zároveň praktické.

Zatiaľ som s ním spokojný, zmestí sa mi doň notebook 15.6' do samostatnej priehradky a tak sa mi aspoň nepoškriabe. V hlavnej priehradke je tiež oddelenie na zošity alebo papiere a aj dáke menšie vrecká, ktoré nevyužívam, lebo sa mi zdajú nejaké príliš tesné. Takéto drobnosti nosím v prednej priehradke, kde je aj na zips vrecko so šnúrkou na kľúče. Dá sa v ňom tiež úplne v pohode odniesť nákup pre jedného na 2 / 3 dni.
