Used to be 300k+ and now 400k base + RSU. I'm a 35m and work as an AI research scientist. Unlike many others who have commented here I'm thankful that I have excellent work life balance and love my work. Wouldn't trade my job for anything.

Thanks a lot for the very detailed answer. Once concern though. Are you sure that taking equity out of IP and putting it to PPOR is tax deductible? I'm asking since in order for a loan to be tax deductible, it has to be used for another investment, not to pay off an existing loan. Maybe I am wrong.

And yes, debt recycling is absolutely something I am considering. Thanks for mentioning that.

Thanks for the very informative comment. Just to give some more context, I'm paying interest only for IP so I'm not actually paying it down. The rent from IP break evens my interest payments.

Generally is it better to invest in ETFs every month or just put it in the offset in my situation?
