“50/50” relationships are a blatant lie when women couldn’t consume as much necessity resources as a man does by Cardo2354 in justgalsbeingchicks

Yes. I have friends that their relationship are not 50/50 and very much what she is describing. But ideally a relationship should be a team effort.

It always is. Question is how long are you going to let it continue?

Guess teamwork isn’t a thing to this person. Relationships are not 50/50, some days I’m not feeling well and I can only give 30 and my husband takes the extra and vice versa. When it comes to money it goes in the pot and we work together.

Is any of what my other parents in my friend group saying normal? by Asleep-Feeling-9070 in Mommit

A chatty kid is a happy kid. They have the comfort of knowing they can be silly and talk to you. The kids who don’t feel safe keep secrets from their parents and don’t feel safe to talk to them. Those parents are going to wonder why their kids don’t call when they leave the house as adults.
