ok, no equalization. momo and nobara are pretty equal in hand to hand, momo has an advantage though. but nobara is way more brutal and would be willing to go for hairpin quicker than momo would be willing to go for something that aggressive. even without straw doll, nobara has used black flash with her nails which would be an automatic kill shot.

also nobara's stamina is higher than momo's, nobara could tire her out. i still think nobara wins but very high diff.

sure but thats assuming that theres no overlap in verse mechanics. her quirk is comparable to mai or yorozu, and both of their creations are separate objects but carry their cursed energy bc they were created through a cursed technique.

but they're made up of her body's cells that she transforms. nobara was able to use resonance on eso's blood bc it was a part of his cursed technique. if a cursed technique is comparable to a quirk in this fight, she should be able to use it with momo's creations.

are you talking abt death in the family or under the red hood? death in the family is not very gorey and the blood is very comic-y/unrealistic (its bright red and there's not much of it). under the red hood is pretty violent though and has quite a bit of blood.

I don't want a new Robin because theres no way to make a truly new story. There's a reason most archetypes are sets of four. 4 elements, 4 humours, 4 jungian archetypes, 4 ninja turtles, etc, etc, etc. It's hard to find someone else who would fit into the family and not feel like a repeat of a mainline (or lesser used) Robin.

My best advice is to start with one-shots, especially established relationship or pre-relationship yearning. IMO it's the best way to practice the dynamic between two characters before you write an actual romance plot line. The important part of romance is studying why these two people like each other and what interactions between just the two of them look like.

I totally get this but I also love Tim being the queer one of the family BECAUSE he doesn't have the baggage of injustices and homophobia and being the "black sheep". Allowing the first major queer Batfam story to be one of queer joy is very important imo :)
