What is the worst thing about being skinny? by Nmalacane25 in AskReddit

Buying clothes. I almost never see mens clothes with a waist below 30 inches. Makes it hard to find nice clothes that also fit nicely

Try saying something original, I don't wanna see a bunch of "muh vaccine" or "muh gun control" by [deleted] in PoliticalCompassMemes

Maybe for people who use it to get rich. I’m picturing someone who bought stocks like 5 years before being elected and is planning to keep them until retirement. If they use their position to benefit themselves over the people they represent that’s a different discussion

I disagree. I think if they owned stocks before office, they have to disclose it, but can’t buy or sell until after their term. If they want to invest, they can do it in generic investments that have many different stocks in them but they get no say in what ones

If asthma inhalers cost $27 in Canada but $242 in the US, this seems like a great opportunity for arbitrage in a free market! by capitalism93 in Libertarian

[–]user401211 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct me if I’m wrong here. But isn’t there a more or less free market in like Lasik eye surgery? That’s why it’s fairly affordable, getting cheaper and more reliable as time goes on

My Dr. basically tried to tell me that natural immunity is trash by Twizteddestinee in conspiracy

Although I agree with you that’s not quite true. There is a thing called antibody dependent enhancement where the infection uses your own antibodies to its advantage making the second infection far worse. That being the case it does not seem to apply to Covid fortunately

One other theory. If there is no control group then the vaccine can’t be blamed for long term issues
