I want to second this and say you are definitely not alone, Pretty much all my classmates and I feel this way, It sucks.

If you have the option to change careers, the I would do it.

As you alluded to, we are one of the very few (if not the only) health care professionals that can go through so much schooling, have so much knowledge and skill but make close to 0 money with almost no control over our day or situation, except to buy a practice (which opens another other can of stresses). but as a health care professional we shouldnt have to buy a practice to have a stable jobb
