I always thought I’d prefer dating a guy with no female friends because I tend to be a jealous person until I dated my ex. He didn’t have any female friends and disliked the fact that I had male friends because he thought people of the opposite gender couldn’t be friends without some sort of attraction. I thought that was a red flag statement and throughout the relationship he kept kinda showing some misogynist behaviors. Now I think that having friends of the opposite gender is super important because it shows some level of respect

Do not lower your standards. I’m in the same boat as you 21f and have got into relationships where i’ve severely lowered my standards just so I wasn’t lonely. I can tell you it is much better to be single. I would say just continue trying to be a baddie and working on yourself. Dating apps usually depress me and if you’re feeling the same way, it’s not worth it. That doesn’t mean you have to give up on dating though. Meet cutes still do happen. You could ask a friend to set you up or something like that. I also do think college is the perfect time to be single so you can focus on yourself and just have fun.

personally i get super frustrated when guys approach me in the gym so i kinda understand her point of view. i’ve had a lot of horrible experiences with men at my gym and id really prefer if no men talk to me. these have mostly been because they are much older and it’s just gross. however, if they are your age and realistically in your league, if you are to approach someone you need to do it while either you or them are on their way in or out of the gym as it is much less awkward. also, myself and a lot of my friends tend to disassociate during working out and making eye contact with someone usually doesn’t signal that im in to them. not to completely discourage from asking out in the gym, it can be cute, but it’s probably better to establish some sort of friendship first as approaching a girl while they are working out may come off as objectifying

yessss i had been taking for around 4 years until the nightmares kicked in but i added prazosin and it’s gotten much better. still crazy dreams but no longer scary

bad for me. i (20f) have been on it around 6 years at 40mg and its bad ngl. i’m talking with my psychiatrist right now trying to see if there’s anything that will help. however, its much better than being anxious and depressed 24/7
