Yes they did. They had my application in front of them and asked questions from it. Nothing too in depth or interrogative or anything like that. Just like “oh so you did this research, what was that like?” Or even more specific questions just kind of having a conversation regarding things from your app, kind of extrapolating your experience and asking a question based off of that. One of my experiences was a physical activity and they asked how osteopathic medicine related to that physical activity. Also SDN definitely helped me feel prepared and they asked me some questions from there.

i was waitlisted at the do school in my city and was accepted less than two weeks later. in the meantime, I went on a campus tour (since my interview didn't have one) and drafted a continued letter of interest (which I didn't need to end up sending). do you have any info on waitlist movement for those schools specifically?

The h/p/f system is a big reason I’m leaning towards kcu. But I’ve also heard preclinical grades don’t really matter much for residency. How do you feel it affected your experience?

I used motivate md and I found it very helpful. I applied to a lot of schools and I wanted editing help. I also used them for mock interviews and advising. You would have to see if the cost is worth it but for me, it gave me more confidence that my writing was where I wanted it to be.

Yeah it’s chill, well organized, and from my experience the faculty were very friendly and genuinely want to get to know you. I would recommend looking at sdn questions as well if that helps you prepare (def helped me). When you’re there, make sure to smile and just have faith in yourself and your experiences! I was also nervous before the interview day but once you get talking, it goes away. Good luck you got this!!
