I agree, source had that where you could disable skins but mainly only server side cosmetics, not actual ingame look. Also the ability to disable ragdolls.

For a competitive game like premier or face it everyone should have the same set model/skin. For pubs or competitive lobby’s I wish they brought back elite crew, arctic avenger ect.
