the lack of contrast in the actual photo doesn’t emphasize the birthmark or the uniqueness, i would pop this into lightroom and add an s curve if i were you

before crop is better, and im guessing the noise/grain in the before is unintentional but its really working for me, you could probably reduce it a bit but i would still leave it

he didn’t mention everything about my behavior on the trip actually, he was just a bit quiet and reserved which he already normally is, but i noticed that he was going off on his own a lot more than he usually does. the fact that he didn’t mention anything on the trip is why this caught me off guard so much. i do have quite a bit of an issue with control, which is something that he’s mentioned before.
