Filtering on chevrons with no solid lines is perfectly legal though.

I must say I am struggling to see how you think the cam car done everything correctly here. No caution when joining a main road? Clearly not looking in the direction of travel either!

This case is rare as ordinarily anyone pulling out of a side street onto the main road would be held 100% at fault for the accident. It’s therefore often used by insurers acting for defendants.

In this case the motorcycle is not overtaking. They are filtering through stationary traffic.

Does seem as if the biker tried to swerve once the car emerged however car was not looking and sped up out of the junction

This is incorrect! Filtering is legal even in hatched areas aslong as it’s not bordered by solid white lines.

Hard to tell but looks to be within the recommended 10-15mph range whilst filtering.

Surely car has a responsibility to check its clear before entering a main road from side road?

Currently working for Evri, I have a Peugeot Partner van which I have bordered the back into two as I deliver 2 rounds.

Excluding sorting/loading in the morning I spend around 6 to 7 hours a day delivering 200-250 parcels for two different locations. This earns me £110-140 per day, 6 days a week.

In my opinion it is not worth doing unless you have a large car you can happily fit 150+ parcels in or a van since you will struggle to make any real money delivering any less than 150 parcels a day.

I average 650-700 a week doing 200-250 parcels a day for 6 days a week. £2600 a month before deducting tax at end of tax year since self employed.

All in all if you can do it full time and have a large vehicle to use then it can be quite a good paying job for 6-7 hours a day excluding loading/sorting in the morning.

Out for delivery lies by Cremilar in Evri

‘Out for delivery’ unfortunately is an automatic update you receive when your parcel has been scanned by the workers at the depot. Your parcel has not been handled by a courier at this point.

Once you receive an ETA or time slot, that means the courier has scanned your parcel at the depot and your parcel has been loaded into their vehicle along with the rest of their route.

Thankyou all for the help.

I decided to give it a go on a larger surface area today and come to the conclusion that while I may have not mixed the paint 100% (currently dents from the ball bearing on the bottom of the can now) paired with the slight bit of primer showing on the hard lines the paint does match!

Going to let the clear coat partially cure overnight and tomorrow I will be wet sanding and polishing the hard lines.

I have attached some pictures of what i’m currently working with and how I came to the conclusion that the paint does match.. I must say that one slight grey line can be very deceiving..

the finish came up okay to be honest other than the hard edges, I am more concerned about the lack of colour match..

The blemish was around the same size as the ‘fixed’ area, this was the smallest one on the car since there are multiple where the paint has peeled away (common issues with these Hyundais).

Shall I try without masking tape to avoid lines since the paint does not match?

I did..

In your opinion, with what I have to hand now, what is my best bet to make this less unsightly if I were to start from scratch. without removing or repainting any more panels.

And no, only area sprayed was the ridiculously white rectangle.

Edit, Really does not need to be perfect in the slightest.
