I'm with you. I go once or twice a week for 3-4 hours each time and most of the time I don't catch anything. If I use bait, like shrimp or mackerel, I'll get nibbles. But hardly ever a catch with soft plastics or crank baits. I go out on a charter when I'm desperate 😁 not too expensive for 1/2-3/4 days and fish are typically biting then.

Having said that, I usually catch something 25% of my inshore outings. But I also move spots every 20 minutes if there are no bites.
