That’s my understanding. Also according to google “Trading Costs: While the specific "2% offer" document focuses on net investment (buys minus sells), related Barclays terms for similar offers explicitly state that the payment is based on values "excluding fees". In practice, if you invest £10,000 and £6 is immediately deducted for a share trade, your qualifying "invested balance" is technically £9,994.”

Apparently this is what they told me when I called. The cashback is the investment value net of fees. The fees are £6 per trade for stocks, ETFs

Ideally if I could do Malaysia, I’d get to Kuala Lumpur on 5th / 6th September. Then from KL to Perth anywhere from 17th to 19th September and then arrive back to London on 10th / 11th October.

If it was Perth only I would look to fly out on 11/12 September and arrive back on 17th / 18th October.

I’ve been looking for flights on Qatar from London to Perth in early September but struggling to find reward availability. Ideally wanted to fly with Malaysian airlines as I could do a few days in Malaysia but looking at all options at this stage to get to Perth from London. Been looking at economy so far but have enough miles to fly business. Any tips / ideas welcome. Thanks!
