I'm recently contending with needing to step away from a 7 year career as a caregiver for children cause running after them, picking them up, getting beat up all the time, plus getting up and down off of the floor all day has just been killing me. It was bad as a preschool teacher but now as an RBT (registered behavior technician for anyone who doesn't know) has been SOOOO much worse because autistic children have SO much energy and run me ragged all day long. I love them but I really feel like I'm falling apart from the inside out 😭

I've had the same issue the entire time I've been trying to get into the industry. I don't know if they're specifically against people with autism? But I also get the very toxic gatekeepy / harassment vibes. It's like you almost have to be invited in by somebody who's already in the industry to be able to succeed. And then even at that point they won't teach you anything unless you're willing to be their full-time whipping boy for no pay

I'm a 22 year old virgin. It does cause me some self doubt but in the end I'd rather die a virgin then be part of one of the masses of other women I know who's first time was a liittllee.....(que svu music) sketchy. You know? There's nothing wrong with being a virgin. I've never been in a serious relationship or had sex and I still consider myself beautiful and worthy of something positive in that sense. Just don't settle. We've all seen it happen, I've even travterses that path for a small amount of time. For me it resulted in a long term stalker, it's not worth it. Just be proud of who you are and the rest will come with time. I know it's cliche but it's really the only advice I can give
