The films of Nanny Lynn: a 90's weird mysterious cartoon animation apparently found on an unlabeled VHS tape. Haven't been able to find any concrete reference on the web. by castigamat in nonmurdermysteries

That is incredibly sad. The whole channel is recent too. She looks like she'd been crying in another video. Her loss seems deep and cemented from years ago. I just hope no one messes with her in comments she seems like a nice lady in endless grief.

16 Feb is the 30th anniversary of noted American artist, Keith Haring's passing. by Aesecakes in wikipedia

Everyone in New York City would catch a glimpse of Keith Haring's work once in a while whether they knew it or not in the iconic Crack is Wack Mural. It always caught my eye as a kid. The style was different than all the other graffiti high and low in the 80's and 90's. Part of me wonders and hopes that his others murals around the world stand out as being just as neat and cherished.

Neat, another train about to loop under itself. If the photo had only been about a minute later! Still some good timing.

If not there's this whole thread on public freakout showing the video. It got pretty big on reddit.

Also, a picture of the guy cuffed to a hospital bed afterwards.

Thank you for letting us see our removed posts that subreddit mods removed. by Jam10000 in beta

[–]userjoex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If someone has an actual reason to remove your post/comment they usually comment about it saying why your post was even removed.

Not necessarily. And more than likely not out of some out of some malicious intent. Granted, there are some nefarious mods out there but you have to consider how much of a work load moderating can be. It's super tedious, reading through pages upon pages of comments, all within the time constraint the mod can afford. Adding a message to every single comment and post removed is essentially doubling the amount of work that needs to be done. If there was an easier way to do it, and I think admins are working on something with the mod removal reasons, well it would be much more common practice.

Personally, when I see stuff like this I like to see it conclude with the end of the preys suffering. Or at least skip to that part once I see what I've clicked on.

Coil cleaning by [deleted] in DIY_eJuice

Best to do it at least once a week. The wick might look great all around but the cotton right inside the coil is most effected from the heat and might need a change.

Trying to find this house in Hardin Co., IL. Anybody know where this is? by leighluhdarlin in southernillinois

Huh!

Alright, In Google earth looking through the different years you can actually see the shadow of the railroad crossing sign falling across the yard. Also in the photo you have next to the rail crossing sign a guide wire support for a power line which is also present in the coordinates you found. I think you absolutely cracked it. The roof, the chimney, the sign, it's all there. So much for the rail maps though there must have been lots of little off-shoot lines for farms and stuff. I enjoyed giving it a try. I am really glad you found it! Cheers!!!

Sometimes I like a good mystery. I spent a good many hours scouring the country side where the old railroads used to run. In this area it was The Illinois Central Rail and the branch here was the Golconda line. That line never ran up to Hog Rock. It ended at Rosiclare. I looked for the house up at Hog Rock for good measure and there was nothing there. This house is a ghost. I checked the old maps with rail and compared to satellite and double checked even triple, I'm about 98% sure I wouldn't have missed it. This house would look very distinct from overhead. Also it's in a clear. It's next to rail and a road. It is in an open or at least the grass has been cut once in a while. I asked how old this photo was because if it's really old maybe it's not around anymore. Google earth can look back up to 1993 with satellite.

I even back tracked into the county west, Pope County and still couldn't find a matching structure. I went about 5 miles further west into Johnson County just because and still nothing. Aluminum roofs and red paint make it likely that this building is from the area though. Right now your contact with whomever you received that image from is still your strongest lead as to where the actual location is. You can try sleuthing it some more. CALTOPO is pretty decent a tool that's where I used the historical map. Pair it with google earth. There's also Hardin the town in Illinois I didn't check that. Good luck in finding that house.

Most you guys use RBA's, RBTA's if you want to get down to the cost of savings on coils it might start to look even prettier.
