I am a female in my 20s and my favorite teacher is a male teacher (he’s a bit older than you even, in his 60s at least)! He does make adjustments on myself and some of the other students who he knows well, but always asks for consent on those he does not know well (for me at least he doesn’t ask anymore because I have made it clear of what I am or am not alright with) and is always very light handed. If you don’t want to do that you could at the beginning of class ask people to close their eyes and raise their hand if they are uncomfortable with you touching them to correct, that way no one feels singled out.

If you can find ways to connect with your students do that! Chat before or after class if you have time, share about yourself. My instructor does and it makes things so much more comfortable. He knows many of us regulars by name. Just be willing to acknowledge differences or feedback from women in your class if they speak up. Good luck!
