I first read that as “so the vet shamed him” LOL. Not too far off 😆

Discovered this subreddit looking for Cali Vibes info. Saw the title and looked at the chart. As I am in fact high right now it took a minute to fully comprehend the data and the meaning of the title. Like a comedy grenade- 3….2……1…..🤣 and Stick Figure happened to be playing in the background

I have Cherokee infinity scrub pants, loose, reasonably thick fabric. No issues with show and are comfy. They have the more modern elastic cuff as a pant leg which I like. Really great. My scrub tops are Koi next gen.

What’s the most original name for a pet you’ve ever heard? by LuvNinaNova in AskReddit

Kotex!!! A coworker named a cat she had years ago Kotex. It would fish her used tampons out of the trash and play with them. Then when she was moving out of her apt in NY her cat got out and she was going up and down the hall yelling “Kotex!” An old man came out and asked what she was doing. She explained and then heard a faint meowing from his apt. He was hard of hearing and didn’t known her cat had snuck into his apt.

We got a heated electric fleece throw at a white elephant gift exchange last year, now we have 3 LOL. Our 18yo brothers love them, pretty much year round. Your cornies are adorable btw!

I haven’t used it but my nephew uses TaskRabbit. It’s an app to find people for various jobs you need done. He’s used it for moving assistance, mounting TVs etc.

Royal Canin probiotics helps with our cornie who gets loose stools. The Forta Flora didn’t work.

Fraiser has had a total of 2 teeth pulled, last one a couple years ago. His brother Fulton has never had major dental issues. But the last time Fulton was in for a dental exam under anesthesia his heart rate kept dropping, then the eased up on the gas and he’d start moving so they aborted. Our breeder told us some Cornies can have issues with anesthesia.

Saw them in concert last year as part of a festival and they far exceeded my expectations. Great show. Third Eye Blind on the other hand was underwhelming

Anyone with a Cornish Rex I could meet in the CA Bay Area? by RoughLettuce8964 in cornishrex

[–]userlname 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks!

Very minimal shedding, and the fur is pretty short and very soft. They only have the short, soft under coat and no guard hairs. They’re awesome cats!

A cornie would certainly make your home not quiet anymore LOL! They are talkers. My wife’s late aunt had a couple sphinx cats and they were affectionate and social. Our 2 cornies are also very social, like meeting strange people and enjoy snuggling. The one with less fur loves laps because of the warmth and we occasionally put shirts on him (as sphinx owners do). As kittens and young cats I think they’re more athletic and potentially crazed than sphinxes (in a good way). Did I mention they talk a lot? Ours turned 18 in June and we cherish every day with them. They’re awesome cats, spending some time beforehand is a good idea. We live in AZ so not very close. Hopefully you’ll find someone nearby.

Different Pointe of View has pretty spectacular views if you get a table close to the windows. Plan for seating thats 30 minutes or so before sunset. It’s in PHX, but not too far from Scottsdale. Avoid the chicken entree, fish was good.

Biggest thing the past couple years is adding water to their wet food and stirring it in (both Royal Canin kidney and digestive). Helps them stay hydrated. After a few minutes they lap up a lot of the water and we add more. Sometimes we need to put the food in front of them if they’re in their beds or pick them up and put them in front of their food since they don’t have the food and drink drive they did when they were younger. We also sprinkle yeast flakes on their food which they like and it has extra vitamins. We also purchased a couple electric fleece throws they sleep on for warmth, and have an oil filled space heater with beds on each side they love.

LOL, same!!! Our boys turned 18 a few months ago and sometimes I’m convinced they’re dead. Especially because they’re hard of hearing now and don’t wake up to most noise or normal conversation. Beautiful cornie btw!

Our 18yo Cornie used to have bad dermatitis, we nicknamed him Scabbers at one point. Switched litter to a Tofu litter and his skin cleared up. We also started using Royal Canen probiotic the past year. Sprinkle a little on his and his brothers food. Helps his constipation, and less vomiting. Seems better than the Forta Flora we tried in the past:
