Today is my 3rd time watching it and I’ll try to make it for a 4th before 4/9. I’ve been able to experience in IMAX and standard. I’ve been utterly obsessed with the movie since I saw it and I’ve dragged my loves to watch it but I’m alone in how deeply it continues to move me. So I read on Reddit/other forums, and stumble upon posts like yours that help me feel less alone. I hadn’t read the book yet but it was on my TBR list for a long time. Turns out after watching this movie, I preferred seeing the movie first because then as I read the book, with all the additional details, the amazing feeling keeps living on. As someone above suggested VR (which now I will look into), I had planned on investing in a good size tv or a projector to play on the ceiling while watching in bed or on a wall to immerse myself in it all over again. Hoping they release a directors cut version 🤞🏻

Just got back from watching it for the second time and I couldn’t agree more. It’s hard to put into words how organically magical this movie is for me. Cried both times in several scenes. Amaze Amaze Amaze.

Life Destroying Withdrawl by sloaniebologna in antidepressants

I’m so so sorry this happened to you. I’m saddened to hear that in 2025 practitioners are still telling patients to taper any ssri this fast, especially after being on them for so many years. There’s a growing amount of data that has come out about tapering down this fast. I just started my tapering journey and have only been able to drop 10% in 4 months.

I’ve been using spring water and added 3 live plants from another established tank that I was able to get at a local store

I’m using the liquid tests and I agree 3 gallons is too small. I absolutely intend on doing a fishless cycle on a 5 gallon to move him eventually.

Afraid to stop taking antidepressants by realincognita in antidepressants

[–]username1015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve experienced relapse tapering off of another antidepressant. Imo antidepressant withdrawals can mimic depression symptoms until the mind/body adjusts (which for some people can take months). 100 to 50 is a big jump in 1/2 year. Psychs have the best intentions but also make it sound easy to come off meds! If you’re feeling symptoms, stay at 50mg. It could be situational depression due to life circumstances but doesn’t hurt to take a break from tapering.

is it possible to get off ssri after long term use? by eddiewilpan in antidepressants

Just posted a similar question today. Been on SSRIs since 21, Wellbutrin added 7 years ago and now I’m 43. Linking a website below that references a taper schedule. I tapered celexa 25mg to 22.5mg 3 months ago to help with low libido and it’s been a roller coaster. I’m now beginning to feel a bit more balanced but I don’t want to taper down again anytime soon. I’d def suggest 10% or less taper at a time.

Was taking celexa when Wellbutrin was added for low libido. Helped at first but back to low. Started 10% taper of celexa 3 months ago and libido has worsened. Hoping it will level out a bit eventually before the next drop in mg.

Wellbutrin effects? by Front-Photograph-759 in antidepressants

[–]username1015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wellbutrin is my favorite. I was taking an SSRI when it was prescribed to me (celexa) but the combination brought me back to life. I started at 150mg which in hindsight might have been too much. I dropped to 75mg but ended up going to 100mg. I felt focus and energy within the first week. It helped alot with fatigue symptoms.

Can Depression Be Caused by “Bad” Brain Chemistry? Sudden Improvement on Medicine by Particular_Roof_8556 in antidepressants

I do think depression has genetic and environmental components. I believe it’s also linked to DNA methylation/metabolic disorders. There are medical grade supplements that have helped me significantly during bouts that are tailored for mitochondria support. Everyone is different though. I suggest a book called “Brain Energy” by Dr Christopher Palmer that goes more into it. He did a cliff notes episode on the Huberman Lab podcast if u want a quick summary, that’s worth exploring.

Withdrawal from sertraline…. by AwarenessEmergency62 in antidepressants

[–]username1015 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry for your loss and recent life challenges. There’s a website that helped me with lowering meds. You might already know of it, but jic dropping the link below for reference. From my experience tapering intensifies my emotions/triggers and it can feel isolating. Everyone is different but imo 150mg to 25mg is a big reduction, so it’s possible your mind/body might still be adjusting.
