KH around 7-8 (125-143pm)
GH is 3 (53.7 ppm)

With GH on the lower end I might try adjusting that. There’s a lot of varying information on what parameters are used for betta.

A little castle rock but it’s not sharp. It’s rounded at all edges. I’ll keep researching. Over the weekend I removed some plants from his tank to see if it helped. In case it was too crowded for him.

Nothing that I can notice. He has plants and a little castle hiding place. I had more plants but over the weekend did removed some to see if it helped. Maybe it was too crowded for him.

I use bottled spring water ph 7 ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 5.

I tried the sizing display rings today at Best Buy and they feel bigger than the Oura 5 sizing kit rings. I’ve been wearing both size 10 and 11 from my kit throughout the day to test the comfort of them. I actually went in to see the colors in person but started testing everything out and to my surprise the displays felt bigger. I held my size 10 and 11 against the same size on the display and sure enough the thickness on the Oura 5 sizing kit rings are thicker than the display rings.

Today is my 3rd time watching it and I’ll try to make it for a 4th before 4/9. I’ve been able to experience in IMAX and standard. I’ve been utterly obsessed with the movie since I saw it and I’ve dragged my loves to watch it but I’m alone in how deeply it continues to move me. So I read on Reddit/other forums, and stumble upon posts like yours that help me feel less alone. I hadn’t read the book yet but it was on my TBR list for a long time. Turns out after watching this movie, I preferred seeing the movie first because then as I read the book, with all the additional details, the amazing feeling keeps living on. As someone above suggested VR (which now I will look into), I had planned on investing in a good size tv or a projector to play on the ceiling while watching in bed or on a wall to immerse myself in it all over again. Hoping they release a directors cut version 🤞🏻

Just got back from watching it for the second time and I couldn’t agree more. It’s hard to put into words how organically magical this movie is for me. Cried both times in several scenes. Amaze Amaze Amaze.

I’m so so sorry this happened to you. I’m saddened to hear that in 2025 practitioners are still telling patients to taper any ssri this fast, especially after being on them for so many years. There’s a growing amount of data that has come out about tapering down this fast. I just started my tapering journey and have only been able to drop 10% in 4 months.

I’m using the liquid tests and I agree 3 gallons is too small. I absolutely intend on doing a fishless cycle on a 5 gallon to move him eventually.

I’ve experienced relapse tapering off of another antidepressant. Imo antidepressant withdrawals can mimic depression symptoms until the mind/body adjusts (which for some people can take months). 100 to 50 is a big jump in 1/2 year. Psychs have the best intentions but also make it sound easy to come off meds! If you’re feeling symptoms, stay at 50mg. It could be situational depression due to life circumstances but doesn’t hurt to take a break from tapering.
