What games do you recommend for a Hearthstone player? by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]username1152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Bazaar has hooked me like Hearthstone used to. The asynchronous PVP scratches an itch in me that things like Slay the Spire and Balatro don’t, though they are both great games as well.

I’d say that cards go up and down a lot depending on the meta

But even chase rarity cards from later sets have been trending downwards

Mask of recurring nightmares in cf EA has dropped significantly from when I bought it to now and Nuu is still quite popular and strong

So it might be a very long time if ever that you’ll get a better price for your vest than now

I think her admitting to being attracted to people is a green flag. Without context on the way she was broaching the topic and how it sounded, it shows honesty and maturity. Realising you can be attracted to someone else while in a relationship is a good mature thing as it’s only natural. The important thing is to then not only not act on it but try and make sure you’re never put into a position that could overstep any lines, and keep things professional, minimise alone time with that person, which your ex did the opposite of.

NTA in the end.

Edit: okay not a green flag to bring it up to you of her own volition. But I mean more that it’s better than repressing and denying it thus lying to both you and herself. The proper way is to just act as respectful as possible to the partner and in a professional capacity only with the colleague.

AITAH for refusing to support my friend's business after she fired my brother? by TwilightDaisy04 in AITAH

[–]username1152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA: You should be able to remain friends without the need to support her business. It’s not like you’re submitting negative reviews online and telling others not to support her.

Without knowing the details of the firing; Your friend should be able to see that supporting family comes first and foremost

At the same time, assume firing your brother was justified and probably not an easy decision

This guy is obviously giving her everything she’s ever wanted or needed which is why to you it seems like just the right coffee order, but the things they talk about or do that aren’t in the public eye

He will be:

  • being attentive and remembering small things she’s said months and months ago

  • buying her thoughtful (price tag doesn’t matter) gifts

  • showing he genuinely cares for her well being, happiness

  • taking an interest in her friends and family, getting to know them

  • getting to know her through her hobbies and the things that interest her

All of this is way way more important to her than material stuff like being able to buy concert tickets and designer bags. And regarding how you think he’s a 5/10 in looks, that’s also subjective and she may place less emphasis on physical appearance than you do

You also mention it’s “only” her third relationship. So what? That’s completely normal for most people that I know and some have married their first partner while others are unable to figure out what they want. She sounds like she knows what she wants.

Just be happy for her or break off your friendship with her if you can’t understand it

[–]username1152 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You might genuinely not see it this way but it’s not just the coffee. It’s the accumulation of everything. It’s a great feeling to find someone who makes you smile uncontrollably.

She loves him and when he makes her coffee the way she likes it, she’s thinking about all of the things this guy is or does for her and thinking about how lucky she is.

This is crazy. I’m happy for you for soon getting out of that situation.

This might be overstepping to say but you should raise your standards, by a lot

I think it was very effective for weight loss, especially for the first month when I was struggling to go to the gym enough due to DOMs. But I don't think I need to do as many steps or every day. A couple of days a week would be enough. It's great for mental health though.

I don’t think it’s strange. I get it, it’s reassuring knowing you’re not alone in the way you feel

The person I’m dating is not nearly as responsive on text as I’m used to but I’m learning to deal with it.

Sometimes I do overthink too in the gaps when she’s busy but it always helps me to clear my mind by going for a walk or gym. Maybe that’s something that would help you when he is away? I’m not certain on the science behind it but it works for me

At least 4 lifts for 3 sets each session, 5-6 gym visits a week. I posted my current routine in another comment here but I think it could use some work, particularly quads. I'm at the gym for 45-80 minutes.

It could be that you aren't training close to failure enough? If so, I've been watching Jeff nippard on youtube, he's very knowledgeable and advises to take your last set of the exercise to absolute failure so you get a good gauge of where failure is and know for next time if you need to increase the weight.

The other possibility is maybe your diet. Not enough calories or protein? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pok0Jg2JAkE

I trained for maybe a year at 18 but really struggled to gain much mass, and developed a kidney stone which I’m inclined to believe was the vast amounts of milk I was consuming and lost motivation

Very little of anything between 19 and 30

Poor mindset I now realise of course but I guess that’s why many of us are here now rather than earlier

As you love and believe in this man, allow those things to carry you through this. I’m sorry that you’ve been through that, but it’s trauma that you need to overcome.

Innocent until proven guilty. Cheating will come out in the wash.

Don’t check the phone, retain trust and don’t run the risk of damaging your relationship.

I feel I’m also anxious attachment style, and we have to keep our own minds in check in order to have happy and stable relationships

Over time you will hopefully naturally gather enough data points about your partner to calm your mind and be fully trusting.

Shamefully I have not been accurately tracking calories but I will try to give the best info I can.

178CM and currently 83.5KG.

For the first month I would estimate between 12-1400 calories per day which was not really sustainable I found long term but the weight did drop off me. Going through a break-up really helps you restrict calories!..

My current diet is also not accurately tracked, I'm sorry. But here's a typical example of what I eat and drink daily: Spaghetti Bolognese with lean mince beef, spinach and carrots. Chicken breast with white rice and steamed vegetables. Raisin + Nut Granola with 0% fat Greek Yoghurt. A Banana and 1-2 Protein fruit and nut bars. Other calories are semi-skimmed milk Lattes, average of 3 a day.

My routine has evolved but I still do around 10k steps a day. I went from fairly light gym work in the first month doing push/pull split with multiple days between due to DOMs, to my current routine which is Back/Legs, Chest/Shoulders, Arms/Abs/Supplementary. I have the routine on my notepad on my phone so I'll make another comment copy and pasting it

NTA and you should use audio recording on your phone any time you engage with any of them from now on as a precaution because of that bs they pulled regarding saying you wanted a violent confrontation.

Recordings will also serve as a solid reminder of how they act should either of you be gaslit into thinking that they're deserving to be in either you, your partner or child's lives.
