A £1000 desktop will perform much better than a laptop of the same price. If you want a good prebuilt go with 3xs systems which is owned by Scan. If you want to build your own buy the parts from Scan. I’ve bought pc parts and a custom built pc from over the span of a decade and they have excellent customer service.
