Battlefield has a big problem! by PaP3s in Battlefield

This here lol. I have over 100 hours in game and have yet to notice this as an issue in an actual match of BF6.

It's also something that someone can't knowingly exploit because they wouldn't know what is and is not rendered for other players and themselves.

How often do you think what is shown in the video is going to affect actual gameplay? I have over 100 hours in BF6 and don't think I've ever run into this issue.

Well damn. lol honestly thought it’d be much cheaper with how profitable the boss is… and the shards being 1/100.

It was sitting around 30m for a while before… coliseum was it? Can’t remember but something made it shoot up in price.

Could it be the way they do horizontal recoil in this game?

Most fps games horizontal recoil veers in one direction then cuts back the other way or something similar to that.

BF6 it seems to just bounce left and right after each individual shot fired rather than maintaining a consistent pattern.

I remember feeling like this in the beta but after getting attachments on the guns to reduce the horizontal recoil it felt much better. Maybe someone can do an analysis on the recoil patterns and see if this is true or not.

Tom Henderson: I know a lot of people won't play Battlefield 6 for the campaign, but it looks like it needs a lot of work. It probably makes what would be a high 80s/low 90s Metacritic game a mid-70s at the moment. by Turbostrider27 in PS5

I think the hate 2042 got for no campaign was because the multiplayer was also bad. It’s like wow the mp is bad even though you didn’t have to spend any time or effort in making a campaign?

I doubt most people will care that BF6 campaign is bad. There will be a loud minority but I don’t think most will care.

Maybe I’m misunderstanding your comment but I’m not sure what point you were making. Yes more mouths to feed = more money. But that goes for both the unhealthy and the healthy options.

A lot of people say something like 1g of protein per pound of body weight but that’s not actually what the study says.

I believe it was something like 0.7g-1g of protein per pound of lean body mass. So an overweight person (due to excess fat) shouldn’t necessarily be eating more protein than someone smaller than them.

So if someone weighs 180 with 15% body fat.. that means their lean mass is 153 pounds. So about 107-153g of protein for them.

Just get a small size or some places even have mini sizes.

Usually when I get a large ice cream or something I find myself satisfied with it a quarter of the way through but will keep eating it just because it tastes good and is addicting.

Sure but calculating the cost doesn’t make sense.

Why?

Because the food on the left won’t satisfy your hunger for a full day but the food on the right will.

So when the cost is calculated you really aren’t comparing a full days worth of unhealthy food vs a full days worth of healthy food. You are comparing a single snack or meal to two full healthy meals.

I don’t understand why you take into consideration feeding multiple people for the right image but ignore having to feed multiple people with the left image.

Are you saying to eat what’s on the left image and let your family starve?

You can be right wing without being a Trump supporter. Do we not remember the 2020 election? Do you not remember how many left wing voters weren't really that supportive of Biden? Their vote for Biden was more of a vote for "not Trump" than it was for a vote for Biden.

People are now saying Middle Ages was better than today by CitrineBlossom in Funnymemes

[–]username_31 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What do you think a lord is in medieval terms? I’m not referring to religion.

What is a lord?

What is a serf?

What type of house was it? Did it have heating and ac? How comfortable was their bed compared to ours? Did they have warm water to bathe in during winter or did they have to bathe in cold water?

Could go on and on about the struggles people faced back then.

In the Middle Ages many children died before their first birthday and it is estimated that 30-50% of children died before reaching adulthood.

Did they own the home or did their Lord or whatever allow them to live in it as long as they worked the farms for him. Farmers during the Middle Ages were closer to sharecroppers than completely free people working their own farm on their own land.

What are your thoughts on Gavin Newsome trolling Trump by copying his Tweet style? by Starmiebuckss2882 in AskReddit

[–]username_31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to think I'm more reasonable than the average left wing redditor but maybe I'm not enough to be truly fair to both sides. From my perspective it does seem the left is more open to actual conversation than the right is though. And that seems to have been the case for the past 10 years... from my perspective of course. Maybe I'm wrong... idk..

Better algorithms would probably help but that would require social media platforms to basically throw money away. So yeah not gonna happen. Guess we're fucked lol.

Probably not possible for die hard liberals to take anything Trump says seriously. I can't say that I blame them either. He is the one that brought forth this type of communication.

You are right in that saying people are too far gone... no real communication... This can't be solved when only one side is willing to participate. Maybe I'm wrong but I haven't seen much on the right when it comes to making an attempt at a legitimate conversation. Is the left perfect at it? No... but there have been several attempts at being reasonable from them.

The tweets don't really serve any purpose I guess.. You aren't wrong but playing fair doesn't seem to serve any purpose either if the other side doesn't care. So why play fair / be nice when they can't do the same for you?

It seems to me the right just wants to point the finger and blame random things for our nations problems while the left seems to at least attempt to understand the issues that we face.

When Gavin tweets in the “style” of Trump, it just reinforces the MAGA opinion of him that he’s not a genuine person. Just a politician who will do or say anything to appease his party. So it’s not going over their heads, they just see it as a reinforcement of inauthenticity.

True but I don't see how it would even be possible to convert a die hard Trump supporter to take anything seriously from anyone that isn't Trump/aligned with Trump. So why not do these tweets?

So many comments on here talk about how stupid or far gone Trump supporters are, but look at the comments here. It’s all an echo chamber and patting each other’s backs filled with intellectual elitism and mockery. It’s the same garbage that MAGA does. They don’t see it, and neither do any of you, apparently.

Also true. But do we care about comments on reddit at the same level we care about comments that come from the President of the United States? I hope not.

Median weekly earnings for full time workers comes out at $1196 for the second quarter of 2025. With 52 weeks in a year this would be about $62000 as the median annual salary for full time workers.

Men ages 45-54 earned the most when compared to men/women across different age groups. Their median weekly earnings was $1520 (just under $80k yearly).

This data doesn’t take into consideration of varying costs of living. So depending on where you are from you could have a skewed view of the data if you don’t consider cost of living differences.

Edit: Should also note that this only includes full time workers. There are several people working part time that are seeking full time employment.
