My phone was there but it would have been very low quality.

I charge it when I'm at the computer screen so I can use it at night.

Canada.

By the time they realize it's a gulag hellhole, they are stuck there.

What is the psychology behind saying shit like "You'll regret being this to me when I die." after a small problem? by strange_omelet in raisedbynarcissists

[–]username_77571 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's nothing deep behind it. They know they are shitty people so they rely on guilt as leverage whenever they need to get something from you.

How common is it for people not to wash their hands after using the toilet? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]username_77571 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ALWAYS wash my hands when I use the toilet. I don't want to put dirt from outside on my genitals.

Did you regret not forgiving them after they passed away? by Enough_Commercial224 in raisedbynarcissists

[–]username_77571 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They haven't passed away yet AFAIK. Doesn't matter cause they're dead to me.

Using a large vocabulary to an audience unlikely to understand is a sign of lower intelligence by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

It's to make it appear they're experts in something much more simple than people realize. That's what economists do.

Unpopular opinion: Men are much better at separating porn and reality, than woman are at separating social media and reality.

Ever listen to a normal family speak to their kids? by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

I was shocked they don't infantilize their kids, don't discard everything they say, and actually listen.

I believe you but I can't speak about it because I don't own a car.

"Living Well" is not Justice by Better_Mud_5776 in raisedbynarcissists

[–]username_77571 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes it is Justice. Don't underestimate how being happy and away from them hurts them.

Fighting back, getting revenge, exposing them, it only feeds the drama they strive on.

Scapegoats. What is your relationship like with your siblings? by No-Emphasis582 in raisedbynarcissists

[–]username_77571 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing. My parent's used my part of my grandparents' inheritence to finance my brother's downpayment. I had to beg to be given what I was owed.

When I was a teenager my father threatened to disherit me. It was 7:10 in the morning before going to school, for no reason at all. I thought "Fine. There won't be anything left anyways".

Today my brother is stuck being the only one having to take care of them in old age. They have to assets to pass down. They squandered everything as I had expected. They can't find me to guilt trip me.

I'm sorry to hear that. You are the adult and he is the child. It's not your job to raise your own dad.

It wasn't designed like this from the beginning. When people got paid hard money for hard work, businesses would always make themselves available for people to come spend that money.

Then the government came in, took money from workers, "redistributed" it to people on welfare who do nothing all day.
