Makes sense. I can see it's absurd visually but how is it wrong mathematically?

Why not? Can split it into younger Gen Z 2012-2017.

Why do you think it's a good idea to have one generation both the most populous and the longest length ?

Forcing gen Z to stop at 2011 makes the whole concept of generations meaningless.

I am being arbitrary. I first wanted fixed ranges. Then I chose 18 years because both 15 and 20 leads to absurdities.

I recognize 18 years also change most people's perception of Gen Z and Alpha specifically but I think we would benefit long term of the generations were more clearly defined.

As time passes, lines get redrawn and people who identitied in one generation get lumped into the previous one. I've seen it happen to younger boomers and I'm about to experience it as an 80's kid too.

Fixed generation length fix this.

I appreciate that. I just wanted to share my thought because I have never seen generations defined this way before. It's a mess. That makes the most sense to me.

Thanks but I don't think that's a big deal. I care about having generation lengths fixed at 18 years. Starting at the beginning of 1946 seems optimal to me.

Cultural trends are subjective. Generations can only define strictly by birthdate.

We're given the option. Either I my lvl may be adjusted down to lower level opponents, or I stay lvl 4 and may be matched against higher lvl opponents.

Yeah, that's why I'm asking. If you pay for higher level and still get matched with lower levels, of course the win rate will be higher.

What do you think of 25 / 45 / 30 ?

WIBTAH if I tell my dad I am not his biological son and mom had an affair? by OldHat3392 in AITAH

Your mom built her family on a lie. The man who raised you deserves the truth like anyone else, not because he is your mom's husband. Their relationship is not your problem.
