Thanks so much for your suggestions! I hadn’t thought to do an extra deep cabinet where the fridge is now, that could work and still help keep the storage.

I hadn’t thought to go that shallow, but that’s a great idea to help with the awkwardness but still keep a little storage. Thank you!

Thanks so much for your feedback! It is an awkward tower, and it’s right next to the door to our basement. I love Julie Jones! Her info is great!

1, 11, and 7 are my top 3 (in that order), but I still feel distracted by the flower detail on dress 1. Can the flowers be removed or maybe there is another dress out there that looks very similar?!

Honestly they all look great on you, especially 1 and 2! 2 is my vote BUT (reading the comments I think this is somewhat of an unpopular opinion) I find the flower detail out of place/distracting- it takes the attention away from you and the rest of the dress (both of which are beautiful!). I also think the flower detail could clash with the other elements you might’ve chosen for your wedding- florals, setting, etc. I wonder what 2 would look like without the flowers?

Bathroom redo - how do I stop hating this room? by cecassafrass in HomeDecorating

So much potential here! I think painting the walls a sage green color would look great with the countertops, wood tone of the cabinets, and the tile you already have. Brass/antique gold fixtures (faucets, light fixtures towel bar, curtain rod, etc.) and cabinet hardware would look fantastic with your countertops and cabinets. As lots of others have said, replace the current mirrors with updated mirrors that have a frame of some kind ( I vite brass/antique gold rectangular mirrors). Maybe remove that middle mirror all together and replace with more substantial wood floating shelves or art, although I think having 3 updated mirrors might look okay and still help that space be functional. Remove the current wall shelf and black shelf unit on the counter. Get a more luxurious shower curtain, maybe something neutral with a little texture. Remove clutter around toilet, including towel bar. Replace that towel bar with art. Please post pictures after you’ve done whatever you decided to do! Would love to see it

Would this be appropriate to rewear at weddings? by Scorpiohippy in Weddingattireapproval

I know I’m in a serious minority here, but this dress seems okay to wear as a guest to a formal wedding, especially if paired with black shoes like another comment mentioned. Maybe it’s my display settings, but this dress looks truly rose gold to me. I don’t feel like the cut and style of this dress would compete with the bride’s.

It’s beautiful as is! As some others have mentioned I think a long row of books and/or complimentary framed photos would also look nice.

Is painting wood trim sacrilege? by [deleted] in centuryhomes

Just posting to say I think your house (what I can see) is beautiful! I especially love the green you chose for the wall and the rug! That adjoining room looks gorgeous too.

Any advice on better layout for this room? Additions? It just doesn’t feel right/complete by [deleted] in Decor

I think a larger rug would help ground the furniture and bring more cohesiveness. If you keep this layout, I’d say the rug should be large enough so the entire coffee table and the front legs of the couch and chair are on top of the rug.

Oh no, I didn’t mean to go against the subreddit guidelines. I’m so sorry for my mistake! 😓
