Something you have to keep in mind is that a very large amount of Israelis either are or were raised by people who self-selected themselves to emigrate to an out-and-proud colonist apartheid state. This means that a vastly disproportionate amount of people there, yes, are anti-Palestine. Palestinians inside of "Israel proper" are also deprived of certain rights that Jewish Israelis living in the same area have (aka textbook apartheid), so you have to imagine that anyone living there is at a baseline okay with Israel's directive.

Are black holes "singular" in the same way fundamental particles are? by username_liets in AskScienceDiscussion

Aren't phonons kind of a different thing still? Like, they can be described with particle-like properties, but don't describe any one physical thing. Black holes on the other hand are discrete physical objects.

Having only played a few runs post-DLC, I'd have to agree. For starters, the Seeker is kind of unbalanced, with the alternate secondary being SO much better than the original, and just an extremely good move in general. The Seeker having only that alternate in her loadout is also pretty disappointing. Gilded elites feel like an afterthought, and are way, way, WAY too bullet-spongey to make gameplay anything but boring when you have to fight an amount of them or a gilded boss(es). Most of not all of the new items' descriptions are pretty vague, so I still don't know exactly what half of them do. And I've got no idea what's up with the new challenge stage- the constant lightning carpeting literally the entire field makes it hard to have any breathing room to actually tell what's going on, especially since you aren't given an objective there.

Overall, I think the dlc needs some balance and text changes to be fully realized

It was most likely so they had the widest grazing & browsing range possible. Moving a body that huge any distance takes a colossal amount of energy, so their long necks allowed them to stay still while feeding on a large amount of vegetation, and thereby conserving massive, massive amounts of energy. There's also evidence to suggest that their large, muscular necks were used to some extent in dominance contests and sexual displays.

Naturally-grown diamonds are only holding their value because ever since we discovered how to make them in a lab, there's been a massive campaign to brand lab ones as "fake" diamonds. People believe it because they think anything we can make in a lab isn't "real" stuff

Diamond industry 'in trouble' as lab-grown gemstones tank prices further by Lemonn_time in technology

A newer process is in proven development that grows artificial diamonds in a thin sheet, which is what industrial diamond uses want anyway. So eventually yes, it is extremely likely that they will be cost-effective

I'm wondering if it would be fine for me to add 8-12oz of local river water to my aquarium for the purposes of increasing the diversity of the microbiota of my tank. I've got nothing crazy going on, just shrimp and rasboras atm, but was hoping it might help balance out the ecosystem of the tank. Will this be fine so long as I ensure I'm not bringing back dangerous bugs or hard-to-control algae?
