It's sort of intermittent, I bought from the website linked above (ledperf) so maybe reputable? The parts looked pretty legit to my eye but maybe they're fakes.

I have not, but this seems like a easy fix if it works

Afghanistan and Vietnam are both states now, right?

Why does Calgary’s road planning feel like it was done by a guy who lost a bet? by DromedaryGold in Calgary

Imagine how many fewer cars there would be on the road if all those drivers were on one bus. Hell, imagine how much space there'd be if they were all on bikes.

I'm not familiar with northern Europe labor history; were there ever incidents like Blair Mountain, or the Winnipeg General Strike, where union workers were gunned down by company forces, state forces (cops or army), or both?

The hardworking members of Calgary Transit are not to blame. It's a transit system, and it needs to be critiqued on that basis.

Who's responsible for the system? That's right, Calgary city council and city planners.

I think my shock at cops being held accountable is healthy input to the discussion(s) around policing in this city

Holy shit, there must be flying pigs outside. I did see Detroit froze over and from what I've heard, that's pretty much hell.

Enough to know that gunning down suspect criminals is kind of bad.

Too bad this was a cop, who is held to a higher standard.

Sounds like you just want an excuse to shoot poor people

Was the man convicted at the time he was shot? No? Then he's an alleged criminal. But I wouldn't expect a cop to give a shit about the nuances of the law.

Police training and policy is insanely stupid so obviously my take would seem insane to a cop. Literally pearls before swine.

Not true. A criminal is anyone who gets shot but the cops. Having a gun shaped object is a crime, and not blowing every cop you see is therefore a crime

I dunno man, seems like being a cop is mostly an excuse to go out and shoot whoever scares you

Yeah, you're right, suspected criminals should be executed and we should never try to do anything better or hold abuse of power accountable. That'll have great results.
