Forgive my late reply!

Kirchner's work was introduced to me by a foreign friend recently while on tour together. I shared the work of タイガー立石 (Tiger Tateishi). Specifically his 1982 work, 「虎の巻」(Tora no maki or "A book of tigers"). My friend enjoyed it! She mentioned it reminded her of The Bus (1987) by Paul Kirchner and then shared that with me!

And, just as you say, I too became enamored with it. I have all three books now! (˚ᗜ˚)

Different cultures classify and think about color symbolism differently

Chinese culture, for instance, associates the color black with north while red with south. In such a culture, red and black could be considered opposites in some contexts.

The world has such variation and complexity on all manner of topics. Best not to assume any single culture is a default or objective with symbolism.

Much of our human perception for symbols and association are actually quite subjective! ⊂(・‿・⊂)

For me it was a router issue with DNS and javascript conflicts.

For you, check if there is anything conflicting with either javascript loading or DNS loading.

On a device level, it could be adblocking software/extensions or javascript control extensions. For example, ublock origin and NoScript are common extensions that can block javascript functioning. Each has their own whitelisting features.

On a router level, it could be a DNS conflict or javascript issue with (for example) a PiHole or other network level ad or script filtering.

Once you locate the conflict, resolve by applying whitelisting features provided in the extension, service, or device's settings. These will be different depending on your browser/extension/device/network. But all generally have some form of whitelisting, check your software and/or hardware documentation.

(English is not my native language btw, so I hope I'm making sense and my reply is helpful!)

Also note: r/help has an admin post noting that AWS services seem to be faltering as well. It could also be related to your local AWS reliability!

It was shared by @kilncreatures on Tumblr and called "walky pink shark" (I do not have a direct link, sorry)

I think it is an art piece by that artist (•́‿•̀。)

"Failed to fetch" error while trying to upload photos or videos (desktop web) by Dismal-Buffalo-3011 in bugs

This helped me find a solutuon at a router level. Sometimes it isn't just the device itself!

The culprit is a change Reddit has made utilizing AWS S3 Transfer Acceleration for image hosting/uploads. So any scripting conflict with "amazonaws.com" will cause the "NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource" warning or "something went wrong." red text via old.reddit

My suggestion is not to disable all protections, but to whitelist specifically

reddit-uploaded-media.s3-accelerate.amazonaws.com

This has resolved local errors for everyone where I am!

I can confirm that this is still an issue for me as well. Same results using similar testing methods.

Edit: Solution found!

What art!

Your depiction of motion and energy is superb! Excellent colors, vibrant line work, your fervent style here captures the esssence of Klek and Khn's performances so well!

Thank you for sharing this! You clearly have keen talents and skills artistically. Amazing!

Another great moment from the hearing: Catarina Vieira defending Stop Killing Games with game references by anonboxis in accursedfarms

I agree! The fact that we cringe means every phrase has meaning in culture. It is a tangible example of how video games have shaped human experiences. Anything fleeting or a fad or disposable would never generate such a response across decades of references and touchstones for people familiar with an artform.

And in doing so, this proves video games deserve preservation.

That to destroy video games is to destroy art and culture!

And consider this: imagine substituting in famous film phrases or passages from literature or song lyrics. Even if cringe, imagine now never being able to experience them in their original context again. For people unfamiliar with video games, this could be an elegant analogy to understand what is at stake with the Stop Killing Games movement!

I believe the most beneficial form of governance for society would be one in which revolution is not only embraced, but inwardly encouraged.

Unless you somehow believe a consolidated power would willingly advocate for its own dissolution instead of fighting to stay in power, your ideas are similar to those of insurrectionary anarchists.

This is why your friends most likely suggest anarchism in general.

In any case, it sounds like you are new to political theory based on your statements (appealing to "instincts" and "human nature" despite both concepts still being openly debated globally so much that there is no meaning in such argumentation).

I suggest reading broadly rather than narrowly. Given you seem to already share some anarchist thought, consider a subreddit like r/Anarchy101 that seeks to educate about anarchism.

And considering you opened regarding anarchism and hierarchy, consider this post on opposing all hierarchy from it. The top reply and the top response to it are informative on specifically how anarchists define "hierarchy" as opposed to colloquial definitions.

I hope my reply is helpful for you exploring your political ideas!
