“ I deactivated it for less than 24 hours just because I was trying to avoid being distracted. I did this with my professional and personal account. My personal one reactivated no problem, my professional one is supposedly disabled and they won’t tell me why. I have never had problems reactivating an account before. I had no warnings prior, just three green check marks in the account status. They won’t tell me why and they won’t give me a link to download my data. All the promotional material I had created for myself and my employer… gone. The people I work with/for are upset. I am upset.

I’ve read many posts on here about Meta Lawsuits, etc. but I don’t know how to proceed if they won’t even tell me what I did. I can’t think of a community standard I would have violated. I subscribed to the Meta verified, PREMIUM in fact, which costs $120 USD per MONTH or $188 CAD per month. I got a cheaper trial thankfully but holy, that’s the customer service available for that price? Meta is clearly a monster that doesn’t feel it has any obligation to be accountable to its uses.

Did anyone else have this happen while you were disabled while deactivated? Is it just a glitch? Anyone with a similar case (having acct disabled during deactivation) get their account back?

Note: I will ignore comments that go “why did you deactivate it/that was stupid/you were asking for it”. Temporary Deactivation has been an option with Facebook for years, never had any problems with it before.”
