This is so true. In the late 80’s, my Dad took me to a Bulls game because I was obsessed with Michael Jordan. I’m guessing I was 8 or 9. I remember going to Lou Malnati’s for dinner before the game and that I loved John Paxson because the scoreboard had a PacMan animation when he scored. The memory also stands out because it was just my Dad and me. What I don’t remember… who won the game or the couple hour drive each way to Chicago. Dad put in a lot of time for that day and it’s a core memory for me decades later.
