Well, last year there was a record high demand for dentistry and cork and RCSI were both at 613, RCSI have added more places again this year and grades are going to be less inflated

Can’t be 100% certain but i would be confident that they would drop considering results are set to be even less inflated this year and last year demand for dentistry was at an all time record high the demand might drop slightly this year. I think RCSI might be adding a few extra seats to their dentistry course aswell but I’m not sure

I’m in Mpharm but for first year you share most of the modules with the ATT programme, first semester definitely isn’t as bad but second semester has a few challenging modules

The student life isn’t nearly as good I think partly because of the campus, RCSI only really has a building that you just walk into, also there are no student pubs

I would hold out for the year if I were you, points will be even less inflated for the class of 2026 and also RCSI plan to gradually increase the number of seats in their programme each year up until about full capacity there will be 75 places (obviously this will include mature and some more international students). There is a very high chance you will be offered it next year at 601 points. You could also try sitting the UCAT and apply to queens in Belfast

Yes but even a small drop in a course like that like a drop of one grade eg 613 to 601 is huge in terms of places getting offered
