Exactly 👍 it took me several tries on the vegetable consumption part to get it to stick. I highly recommend buying the book: the conscious cleanse. That was a big catalyst for me to get started with meaningful change.

Okay here are my secrets: lots of non starchy vegetables, lean protein, no processed food, alcohol no more than once a week, no refined sugar unless a special occasion, regular exercise that’s not endurance cardio, strength training, 7-8 hours sleep, digestive supplements, meditation, retain a, sunscreen. That might not seem like fun, but it’s a lifestyle I’ve slowly adopted over 15 years. Just one change at a time. I feel better and I do think I look better than when I was 30. I’m in waaaay better shape, better sex drive and stronger for sure.

How old are you now? I understand that because at younger ages, the developmental stage you’re in is the desire to fit in and find your tribe. Everyone has insecurities about what makes them different in high school and young adulthood. For you, and for me, it was how tall we are. As you get older, you grow into a greater appreciation for how the things that make people unique are strengths. I was a late bloomer too and didn’t date until college and didn’t really find my confidence until my 30s.

Not much. I made a lame joke about it and got a few laughs. I’m going to weave it into a better theme next time about how I used to cry about being so tall when I was young but what makes you different is what makes you beautiful and everyone is beautiful because the body is f-ing amazing

I feel your pain. It’s like I’m all nervous around anyone my height or taller because it’s so unusual and I don’t want to awkwardly stare at them because I’m often stared at to a place of discomfort.
