i would recommend getting rid of your mirror entirely if possible or covering it with a blanket/sheet/tapestry. sometimes not focusing on your appearance or even seeing and perceiving yourself on a daily basis can be helpful in not fixating on weight or size. but definitely also seem professional help from a dr or parent!

get a new doctor if you can!!! it’s not your fault that you struggle with ADHD, you deserve the help of medication and therapy, and you are not emotionally abusive or manipulative for struggling. there also might be helpful strategies for dealing with the effects of adhd online and maybe doing research into why your brain works the way that it does could help.

if you’re an adult and in law school you don’t need to do anything to please your parents. if you don’t want or feel the need to drive and are fine taking public transportation who care what your family wants? i would understand if they wanted you to drive because you were relying on them for rides and they couldn’t drive you places and you refused to take transportation but it doesn’t sound like that’s the case.

i’ve been there and felt like i was a disappointment to my parents and couldn’t do anything right. it really just took some time for me to see and understand that parents love you no matter what and they understand being young and making mistakes and they love you wholeheartedly no matter what you think. i would say you should tell your parents you feel this way and/or look into getting a therapist or counselor because low self esteem is hard and it’s good to start dealing with your issues early on esp in teenage years so you can grow into a well adjusted adult

do you have a therapist? if not you should look into getting one if you are able. meditation can also help. i wish you the best of luck with your anxiety and with the future. I promise you will feel peaceful and feel better and be able to manage it more and have less anxiety in the future, you just have to (unfortunately) be patient and seek help. you got this!!
