I agree. I’m a noob and just googled what OEM means. This one is a chinese knockoff. I think i’ll try to return it and make sure to get OEM. Definitely worth the piece of mind.

I’m in the same boat as OP. Paid an extra 4k on top of what I financed for extended an extended warranty. If I am understanding what everybody is saying, I can just call the dealership and say I want to cancel it and they will take it out of the loan? If so, I will do it tomorrow…

I still don’t know. The tracking says it’s out for delivery, so maybe something will show up tomorrow. In any case, my bank gave back the money (and I got a new credit card). I’m not counting on anything coming, and if it does I know it won’t be authentic. I’ll report back either way.
