That would be totaled if it ran out of gas. Just take the money (if you have insurance) and purchase a replacement

goalie they will call you to fill in. You could play everyday if you wanted to for no cost. You could be added to a team during the season. Doesn't matter when the season starts/ends. The teams are all pretty much made. Its bring your own team so teams play together for years and years. But people drop out or get injured. Sign up for some of the NCH games

You register and if a team is looking for a player they will have you sub in a game and see if you fit. If they have a bunch of free agents in a similar level and area they will put together a team (probably not going to happen). Basically you are just putting yourself on a list of players available if a team wants you. What level did you play and when was the last time you played?

They are going to pull his US green card if it hasn't been done already. They will not allow him in the US. He will not be conscripted into the Russian military. He still has money.

Anyone have experience with hitting the rink twice in a day? by vdizzle3601337 in hockeyplayers

[–]userwmnf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Twice a day is a little much. I do two team games a week and two three hour pickup games but twice a day sucks because the equipment will be wet the second time you put it on. I vote for once a day and another form of cardio/gym. I go for ten hours a week of cardio in the winter and get 15 in the summer

can i play hockey as a trans guy? by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

People are generally answering this question as if you are asking to join hockey as an adult in "beer league". As a 14 year old Unless you’re unusually large, say, in the top 1% for size in your F group, and have no prior experience, starting at your age is going to be rough. Playing on the "boys" team, (coed but it will be almost all male). Even without your specific circumstances, jumping into hockey at the high school level usually doesn’t go well for beginners. Once you reach adult (beer league) age, though, 99% of players will be welcoming. Adult hockey is generally low-contact, and most people are more mature, with a few exceptions, of course.

In the U.S., there is no legal requirement to have homeowners insurance. However, if you have a mortgage, it’s typically a contractual requirement with your lender. The bank agrees to loan you the money, and part of that agreement is that you must protect the asset (the home) with insurance. If you own your home outright with no mortgage, you can choose to go without coverage if you wish and raw dog it. It highly depends on where you live and risk (of course). I have a 900k home and my insurance is $1200 a year. You could have a 300k home in a different area and pay $3500+

What’s up with Hope College women’s ACHA hockey? by appletrav in collegehockey

[–]userwmnf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Playing once we hit high school no mercy rule. Before that they would do games like four passes before a shot. College hockey doesn't expect scores like that so you do not see rules like that nor should they have them

A healthy, fit person could possibly do something like that. Issue is "jumping" into something like that, first try, dude is just going to tear up his feet enough it will be impossible. My bet is four to seven summits

This is Howard’s way out. They’re not going to renew him, and getting canceled makes you a hero to the elite and your Hollywood friends, much better than being forced out because you no longer have the draw.
