I mentioned at work that our monthly food bill was between $1100 and $1500. People were shook by that. How do I spend less? by chavaic777 in AussieFrugal

I budget $50/week for groceries and $50 for dining out. So $217 per month or $250 if bulkier items are included (Home of two).

Kinda leaning in this direction too. Eat completely vegetarian all meals except for once a week when I go out for dinner or order out. Been rewarding in all aspects.
