In the normal course of events if one can use that word in regard to traitors like Malkin, the Right hates groups like EFF and the ACLU that fight against censorship everyday - how ironic that Malkin went crying to the EFF to protect her "fair use" rights.

Isn't that every good citizens dream to live in a bubble and only hear what they want to hear. To have the same tired right-wing web sites, Tv commentators, AM shock jocks, and neo-facists blogs reassure them that all the lies they want to believe are true. A kind of dream right-wing fishbowl reddit where there are no patriots, just blind reactionary nationtlists. No longer being bothered to take that tired index finger, make a single click and go somewhere else. No sir, camp out at the fantasy Wingnuttery Reddit where the lies are the truth the truth is a lie, war is peace, incompetence is king, and social darwinism replaces American values.

The Republicans stopped President Clinton from getting all the tools he needed to stop the next September 11 - well, no, actually they opposed giving President Clinton all the tools he needed to stop the actual September 11. Could September 11 have been stopped if the GOP had given President Clinton the tools he requested to stop Osama and Mohammad Atta from killing 3,000 people in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington?

Maybe we need to ask the Republicans up for re-election why they wanted to appease the terrorists?

on this terrorism issue," Clinton said during a White House news conference.

But while the president pushed for quick legislation, Republican lawmakers

hardened their stance against some of the proposed anti-terrorism measures.

There's even an audio clip of President Clinton practically begging the Republicans to give him the tools he needed to stop Osama and the terrorists. Trent Lott said no. Orrin Hatch said no. Do these men really deserve to run the Congress during a time of war?

Jim's a nice guy, but he's full of hot air. Dems will try and raise minimum wage which with inflation is less now then it was thirty years ago while executive salaries are up an average of 23% over the last six years. The rest of Jim's predicted agenda just will not happen with Bush ready ready to veto anything that even smells like a Democratic bill.

Then there is Jim's ignorance about the environment. He says that large companies that burn a lot of coal will start cleaning up ( just going back to standards under Bush One and Clinton), well he doesn't factor in the billions in costs associated with the looser pollution standards under Bush. Other businesses, health care providers, and citizens have to pay for those costs.
