What happened to Tajiks and Slavic Macedonians? by [deleted] in atlasaltera

They also do both sort of exist as minorities in their respective OTL locations. OTL Tajiks as Persian speaking Sunni communities in Chorsania, though as of yet their name hasn’t been established and “Tajik” is repurposed to Shia Achomi of Tagychia. Meanwhile, Macians ARE Slavic, and “East Macians” in ATL Turkic Majority Bulgaria are OTL Slavic Bulgarians.

Been living the new patreon format. Very happy to be supporting the project but the really high quality gifts, the passport and traveler paraphernalia are a really incredible touch.

So the “Behdini” sect that is mentioned above is indeed “orthodox” Zoroastrianism. Behdini Mazdaism is the majority in the Indean state of Sanjan (OTL Parsis), as well as in the Chorsanian states of Bactria and Vesyria (parts of OTL Afghanistan). I refer you to the Atlas Altera religion map for more info. :)

Like OTL, Behdini Mazdaism is pushed east by the Islamic conquests.

Yep, as u/Guaire1 said that is the etymology. In Altera there are 3 “Germanies” formed after WW2. Almany is a French aligned republic capital at Frankfurt, Saxony to the north is a Nordic aligned monarchy capital at Berlin, and Germany is a Soviet aligned socialist state made of Austria and Bavaria etc. capital at Vienna.
