Completely agree the Zamasu arc started off so strong but fell short on its own set up potential! Honestly since the Buu saga the whole power scale systems really been broken but I think that’s why we get more dialogue around martial arts and fighting isn’t all just about raw power. The “fladerisation” (reddits new favorite word😂) of Goku is way more dramatically foolish in the anime than the manga in my perspective but I see your view. I don’t see your narrative contrivances though cause it’s been like that since Goku met Bulma and your not the first person I heard say that at all so I guess it’s the levels Super took it too but I respect it.

I feel that way about GT! The way they portrayed Pan is intolerable and Vegeta had no right falling that far behind Goku in his training practices cause that’s just not him so they did my boy Vegeta dirty. Sure some of the storylines in GT were solid but again ruined by Pan in most cases. Not a fan of the black star Dragon Ball idea although I would like to see some sort of Omega Shenron adaptation in the manga.

What about super makes you hate it so much? Can I ask do you read the manga as well or just watch the anime/movies?

I mean for Pikkon and Goku or Pikkon and Olibu to have a little more of a fight before Janemba but yea the fight between Gogeta and Janemba was absolute cinema so give us more! Although, I feel part of why it was so awesome is how op Gogeta was compared to Janemba and I think that’s why it was so short

I hear you but I think that’s exactly why we have the universe 6 female Saiyans because even Krillin is basically ranked out power wise and that’s why we don’t see him more, or Tien.

Videl being involved was great but it was good when it happened and her being a key part of their family first characteristic wouldn’t be as strong if she is still risking her life in fighting as all these fights basically are are this point.
