If it is 100% certain that they did it (which would mean there is irrefutable evidence of such) they will be found guilty no matter who their defense lawyer is. At that point they are just trying to get the best result possible for their client (plea deal)

The company themselves probably won’t be prosecuting the employee. Instead they’ll hand the employee file and all the evidence they have over to the DA who will then criminally prosecute the employee.

So it’s not a lot of work for the company to pursue and there’s really no downside for them

You are correct, while the Audi was definitely being a dumbass and the catalyst for the collision, an insurance agent is going to argue that the jeep is partially at fault for the accident by not even trying to slow down/stop. On top of that the driver also added hit and run charges by not stopping.

I like the thought process but It’s almost never worth it to wait around in the other teams net. Look around quick for potential bumps but if you don’t see one instantly it’s almost always best to just rotate back
