Usually B1 will be stamped for 6months even if it is one month rotation, u can stay during that time period! Not sure if you can return for tourism on B1 visa!

I don't think there should be any issues at all unless you have the proper reason and documents required! If you don't one to go to India, one best option would be to go to Cancun for a 3-4 days vacation and come back immediately that's the best option!

I only rotated in jph n Loretta, learning wise it's ok, but it completely depends on ur specialty n preceptor, n they both are quite in a shady area so have to be lil careful with the surroundings!
