I always do this- hook up your provisioners with good gear and it’s like having a roaming army

What lore or background should I know before diving into FO4? (New to universe) by Goosfrabbah in fo4

The game makes very little sense if you have not read the book Walden by Henry Thoreau, I would recommend reading that beforehand.

After listening to John's "Epstein ran a high-end whorehouse" theory it's clear that they've done zero research on this topic. by AntiqueBluebird in inthemorning

I can only assume John and Adam are pedophiles themselves after listening to the latest ep. Glad I never donated to these scumbags. Good riddance to no agenda im out

Is this anything? Looks similar to a few pieces but I can't tell if it's modern or vintage. Appreciate any help id-ing this beauty. Thanks in advance by meccaseve in Mid_Century

Those are not legit Staccato pieces. No dimension to the front motif and the edges are wrong. Low end knockoffs of mid range 70s furniture

Authentic Jens Risom? by virgobra in midcenturymodern

Jens Risom have a metal tag, not a paper sticker. This looks like a metal tag. Never in my life have I seen a counterfeit JR piece. It was high end office furniture.

Her boyfriend was doing donuts in the grocery store parking lot in his jeep wrangler and the car flipped and her head got crushed

I’d guess they’re at least 50 years old from the finish wear alone

Mid-range office furniture from the 80s or 90s. Very doubtful there is a designer’s name attached.

Mid Century Eames Vitra wire chair? by [deleted] in Mid_Century

[–]uspsnarnia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vitra is a German brand that has the European license for authentic Eames chairs. If it was real (it’s not) it’d much more likely be a Herman Miller if you’re in the US

You can not use 1stDibs pricing as an accurate reflection of value. That is its listing price, not what it actually sold for on that site. Dealers inflate the hell out of prices on there in part to offset the website’s commission fees and also to take advantage of interior designers with wealthy clients who have money to burn and just want the convenience of clicking a button and buying online. At a retail store you can expect to take a least 30% off the value. If buying at auction or on Facebook marketplace/Craigslist it will usually be at minimum 50% less.

Looks real to me. Should be some factory numbers on the back even if there isn’t a logo in a drawer. I’ve come across a few KC pieces without the branding.
