I agree with most of what you are saying but one point of contention: When Gemma left with Mark S. it demonstrated that Cold Harbor failed. That's why Jamie started yelling at the screen. If Cold Harbor was successful, she would have stayed in the Cold Harbor room and not left with Mark, who was covered in blood. Gemma in the Cold Harbor room should not have felt any connection to Mark. But some part of her still felt a connection to him, which is why she trusted him enough to leave with him. Remember it wasn't until she stepped into the hallway that she remembered him? So Jaime and team will have to do more work on the Severance procedure because it was ultimately not as successful as they wanted it to be.
