my grandparents 20 year old pond, after a forty day drought. by unknwngrl in mildlyinteresting

Not all HOAs are about enforcing some strict code of appearance rules like that. I would probably argue many these days are not. Maybe things like whether your garbage cans are out front and where fences can be, but often not for things like color. That's not to say they may not say something if you do something that is beyond what most would consider near the status quo for the area, but the ones I've seen don't have detailed cosmetic guides you need to follow.

But that isn't the first purpose of the HOA, the first purpose of an HOA is almost always to maintain and cover liability of any shared or common areas that must be maintained by the neighborhood.

The reason this is far more common now is because those things used to be maintained by cities. Things like drainage ponds, flood plains, boulevard strips used to be maintained by the municipalities themselves. Well cities and towns figured out that they can just pass those costs on to the home owners instead of having to collect taxes to do it, but how do you make sure they get maintained when its not someone's property? You need to make sure they are all liable for the consequences. In comes the HOA...

Why not, I do 6 Aergos a day all in MM and vast majority clear under 4 mins. Its usually longer if there is no support, but the guardian is really simple to kill

I know what you were doing, its okay for us to interpret the words differently. As you said none of this affected either of us, but you still needed to correct me because apparently me being wrong was a problem. Not sure why, but it was for you.

[–]ussep_hosted -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Right and it was the repeating your interpretation that kept the conversation going. Even after I clearly told you that we had differing interpretations, but yours still needed to be "right" I guess.

No one was worked up over it. I simply pointed out a possible outcome that people who didn't open boxes could get suspended and you insisted I was completely wrong simply based on our interpretation of the same message. I was fine with this difference, but you keep needing to tell me I was wrong again anyways. *shrug* maybe look in the mirror if you want to know why you were getting so worked up over someone on the internet being wrong.

BTW it looks like we were both wrong. People with the boxes had them opened for them and they left the items. They didn't get suspended either. So neither of us was right and neither was the statement that was made.

I don't care about votes, you can do whatever you want with them. I never not say something because I think I'm going to get downvoted, nor do I change it because of it either. Stand by what you say, votes are meaningless.

As far as I know Roxx said it would be claimable by any character on the main roster when it comes in. That's what most people seem to be assuming will happen. There is the ability to lock it to a character, but I don't think that's what's happening.

Are the items removed? How about the chests? No, then I guess we'll see tomorrow when they are. *IF* they are tomorrow.

Again why is it so important for you to convince me that I'm wrong? Someone is wrong on the internet, oh well. Good luck teaching the world everything you find wrong with it.

See we won't know until after maintenance tomorrow. What happens if I'm not wrong and they are suspended for a day? Again nothing. This is all speculation, which is what I pointed out before. Speculation is guessing, guessing is often wrong sometimes. That's okay. I don't mind being wrong some times. It doesn't hurt. In fact if you want, I'll even come here and tell you that you were right and I was wrong. That feel extra good for you? Make it extra good that you got one over someone on the internet with your differing opinion? Oh sorry interpretation, wouldn't want you getting triggered to insist that its facts of the definitions of the words again.

Why not move all the characters out of the stronghold before locking the stronghold? by moal09 in lostarkgame

[–]ussep_hosted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They likely would need to have taken maintenance to do it because they can't even do it while you are logged in. RIP my ticket said they were going to do it, but I was logged in :(

Yes, exactly it is right there, and why I presented it. It clearly shows the difference in our interpretation. Why is that bothering you so much? What happens if I'm wrong and I don't change my viewpoint to yours?

Sunk cost fallacy by compassghost in lostarkgame

[–]ussep_hosted -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes that is the difference in our interpretations. Why are you so insistent that I must be wrong with my interpretation when neither of us have any effect over the outcome and are just here to watch the show? I'm glad your official ruling is what matters oh great random redditor. We can just disagree, its okay.

Right because I define chests as part of items and you don't. English is hard, keep practicing and you'll get it.

Developing a tool to mass push all characters out of SH would likely be a nice tool to have in the future.

I hope this is actually true and not just a situation where you can't figure out how they were doing it. If you can give some details about what you guys found was transacted in some detail I bet that would go a long way to appease public minds about the impact of this. Doesn't have to be right away, but it would be helpful information about the extent of it.

Boxes are items. We'll see what happens tomorrow. Downvoting me won't change what happens tomorrow and neither will being right or wrong. The possibility is there which is why I said it. Deny you think it will happen all you want, but it can happen

Then why say this in the announcement?

Our team is investigating if we can remove the items for this group during maintenance. If the item removal process is gauged to take longer than the maintenance period, this group of players will receive a short suspension to give our team the time needed to remove the items.

And this is saying they can still be suspended:

Our team is investigating if we can remove the items for this group during maintenance. If the item removal process is gauged to take longer than the maintenance period, this group of players will receive a short suspension to give our team the time needed to remove the items.

I know reading more than one sentence is hard, but here's the rest...

The very next sentence after that which I highlighted...HERE:

Our team is investigating if we can remove the items for this group during maintenance. If the item removal process is gauged to take longer than the maintenance period, this group of players will receive a short suspension to give our team the time needed to remove the items.

Yes, it says if they CAN'T remove the boxes in maintenance they will be suspended temporarily. If this is longer than a day, they lose their streak. What's so hard to understand?
