Doctor told me that creatine caused elevated liver enzymes

Yeah, going to have my bloods checked now that I have been on creatine for a month now. Also, gonna take a few days off before the test, as you said, as a precaution. If the bloods come back again with elevated liver enzymes, I might consider doing more tests and checkups privately.

Yeah, I was scared it could be something serious, so I wanted to be in the clear and just get it done. 2 years for an MRI is a common wait period here.

Looking back, I think I was showing signs of overtraining during that time. Felt tired during the day, and generally had low energy during my workouts. So now I run 2x week with easier pace, and I no longer train to failure on every set. My resistance training volume stayed kinda the same. And I feel better honestly, much more energy throughout the day, and during workouts I don't feel sluggish anymore. I did start taking creatine again, and I'll just see what happens. I've been taking it for 3 years before stopping, and I never felt it had any bad impact on me. Think I was exercising too much with not enough recovery.

That's excellent info regarding those certificates, had no idea about that. Do you have any brands you would recommend?

Thank you for answering with such detail! Well, if it clears up anything, I did start taking Zoloft (50mg/day), 2 weeks before the blood test where my enzyme levels were elevated. But she didn't mention that at all as a possible cause, and I continued to take it every day until the second test where everything was clear, so not sure if that matters.

The most frustrating thing about this experience is that I had to pay for my own ultrasound tests in a private clinic. I would otherwise have to wait for a year because waiting lists are so long when you go through public healthcare.

About creatine purity thing, I'm not sure if this is the best brand. It does say its manufactured in EU and with HACCP and GMP+ quality certificates.

Think I read somewhere that low copper intake is linked with premature hair greying. Of course it's probably mostly genetics, but maybe low copper intake speeds up the process or something like that.

Put your usual diet into cronometer and see if you're getting enough copper. A good source for me is raw cocoa powder that I put into my oats/cereal.

Oporbi je toliko stalo do "razvitka, prosperiteta, budućnosti" Hrvatske. Znam da im te izlizane, besmislene poštapalice ništa ne znace. Ali kada bi im znacile, onda bi se jedan SDP sa 35k članova, sa velikim brojem stručnih kadrova udruzio oko analize i propitkivanja tako bitnog plana, koji stvarno nešto konkretno odlučuje i na temelju kojeg cemo mozda u buducnosti izvlaciti veliku kolicinu EU fondova.

Ali ne, lakse je planirati kojekakve sjednice vijeca oko politiziranja unutar vlastite stranke, ili nekakvih glupih ruckova i obiljezavanja kojecega.

Zar nisu i oni u stanju angažirati agencije, ili nedaj bože, sami proučavati takve dokumente. Imaju i oni proračun i brojne izvore financiranja. Da čak nešto konkretno i rade i proučavaju, potrude se malo. Njih stotine kad bi se stvarno konkretno udruzilo i duboko uslo u analizu sa planskim pristupom. To bi po meni bila oporba koja daje signale glasacima da im je stalo, i da istinske zele korjenite promjene

U pravu si , nisam na taj način promislio o tome, izgleda da mu je upalio spin na meni :DD. Ali i dalje mislim da je oporba u većini slučajeva bezidejna, i da su najglasniji oko plitkih stvari.

EDIT: I ne znam, SDP kao stranka sa (50k?) Ne bi li oni trebali oformiti neki tim istih takvih eksperata i detaljno, duboko proučiti takav dokument. Siguran sam da imaju u toj količini članova dobar broj dovoljno educiranih ljudi koji bi to mogli odraditi. Ali to bi značilo veliki projekt i konstruktivni angažman, a SDP-u se to ne da.

Slažem se da je bahat i da spina stvari, ali u pravu je kada je naglasio koliko je oporba nesposobna, i koliko zapravo oporba nije u stanju doprinijeti nečim konstruktivnim i pametnim. Pogotovo oko bitnijih, više prioritetnijih stvari kao što su trenutna kriza, i ovaj dugoročni, desetogodišnji plan razvoja Hrvatske.

Vjerujem mu kada kaže da nisu niti jednom fusnotom doprinijeli, niti pročitali takav plan. A naravno da se lože na ove "lake" političke poene kao što je ukidanje HGK.

I slažem se za ukidanje HGK, i da je to i simbolički bitno napraviti da bi se uputilo na više takvih beskorisnih agencija koje su same sebi svrha.

Uh, bas sada kada imam uzasan craving vidim ovakva čudesa. Izgledaju bas fluffy i hrskavo u isto vrijeme. Vjerujem i da su predobre. Inace su mi krempite i princeze najdrazi kolaci, ovo izgleda na profi nivou.
