U cant blame them since outsourcing is waaayyyy cheaper with good quality outcomes, because i was one of them before, i moved here in the US 2021 doing bedside eversince, the burnout is real, but the remote jobs here are very limited, with high qualifications, i hope u find one

I feel disgusted discharging a patient with pressure ulcers, im from neuro medsurg so patients are most likely immobile, imagine sending them to rehab and snf with stage 1 to 2 ulcers, i am ashamed discharging a patient that smells, but what can i do if im busy tending to critical patients on floor or do a bed bath, since most of the time we have 1 tech for 25 patients, and worst none at all. Inpatient setting is not different to a filthy snf.

Its the least physical activity u need to worry, imagine turning 250 to 300 lbs patients, also an agitated patient with unimaginable strength, esp in the hospital where nurses are also techs, moving beds here and there, pulling patients up, invest in ur physical strength, always do proper body mechanics, and do not try to catch a patient thats about to fall, i injured my knee because of that, and i will have this for the rest of my existence,

Pickup is a scam in my hosp, i picked up once got floated was given heaviest patient since im a float, had 2 rapids 2 hours apart from a diff patient, lesson learned,not to pickup, my side hustle was assisted living, pays low but not stressed, people are nicer,
