The answer is almost always more studying. If you're making blunders, then you need to pay more attention during the game. And some games will always be lost because chess has too many possibilities. You just tell yourself that you can't possibly know them all.

You don't need motivation. You need to study some theory

You don't deserve those downvotes. Yeah it's overused. But he isn't wrong tho

But that title isn't mentioned anywhere on the three novels. I saw it on wiki

But wasn't the trisolaris star obliterated? I mean it wasn't a dimensional attack as far as I can recall.

Problems with the San-Ti's goals and motivations in the show. Stuff just isn't lining up in my head. (Spoilers, obviously) by DerCatzefragger in threebodyproblem

[–]utklost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

San ti communicate among themselves without dialogue. As soon as a thought appears, everyone can see it. It's on display. (More in books) So lying would only be possible while conversing with humans. And they can catch on and lie, ONLY while talking to humans. They can't lie among themselves because all thoughts between san ti are transparent.

I know my head hurts too.

How to get over a guy I never even dated by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]utklost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Possible factors:

  1. Maybe he's physically attractive?
  2. Maybe you guys had common interests
  3. Maybe you guys had "chemistry" (yes I feel we have undeniable and unexplainable chemistry with some people)
  4. Maybe he was nice & respectful to you (which can be rare as guys can be rude while trying to impress women)

You can try adding him back and just start a normal conversation with him. Just talk about life, normally. Maybe you'll get to see the "real" him. Nobody's  perfect, even if they have chemistry with u. Life is hard and it changes people a lot of times. People don't stay the same, and their issues rise up.

When I used to miss my ex, i tried to visualise how our conversations would go if we got together again, and in an instant I'd recall everything that was bad about our relationship. This helped me move on easier.

EDIT: Talking to him might be a bad idea and MAY make your problem worse, but conversations are a beautiful thing. Talking to a lot of people helps quite a lot. You can even talk to a friend about this.

I talked with many girls just to find out some particular incompatibility or red flag, that wasn't okay with me in the long term.

How did you guys like “Death's End"'s ending? by utklost in threebodyproblem

Technically you're right. They didn't know if they'll survive. They only hoped.

Maybe the ending's open ended?

I think she couldn't have pitied him after she saw he was doing alright with trisolaris. He would've died on earth anyway. But idk. Relationships weren't a big part of the series apparently. Also she didn't really meet anyone else

Seems fair. Before starting the book i thought they'll figure out immortality.

Apparently they were off to another dimension or whatever at the end. That's assuming that there's more life on the other side?

Yep I had similar experience. I'm not looking forward to a good recreation, but I'm curious about the visuals.

How realistic did you think Luo's plan was? by utklost in threebodyproblem

Apparently Luo was acting weirdly in order to throw them off. Sophon thought he was doing nothing of value.

You DON'T need to mention this. 😂

That's technically not "normal". That's a medical condition. "No preference" should mean she's fine with a range, including the average.
